North Carolina's Deer Brook Golf Club tops Power Rankings for the week of July 13

We're at 400,000 course ratings and reviews at Golf Advisor as we enter the heart of the summer golf season. Northern courses are basking in prime time, while Southern golfers are hoping for that coveted first-out tee time in hopes of beating the heat.

Courses throughout North America qualified for this week's edition of Power Rankings (a minimum of five reviews since July 4th). North Carolina's Deer Brook Golf Club, located east of Charlotte, is the latest course to assume the top position.

It wasn't the only course in the state to make the Top 10. The Carolina Club in the state's Outer Banks region also cracked the Top 5.

You can view the top overall rated courses below, as well as our most active courses, which has a heavy Canadian slant, over that time frame as well.
