Oyster Bay Golf Links north of Myrtle Beach

Oyster Bay Golf Links, north of Myrtle Beach in Sunset Beach, N.C., is one of the area's most scenic and dramatic rounds. The golf course plays through scenic marsh and wetlands, all within a whiff of the Atlantic Ocean. The course features two island green par 3s on the back nine and numerous other dramatic holes designed by Legends developer Larry Young and Dan Maples. The greens here are enormous and very sloping, making for some tricky pin positions and few routine two-putts.

Oyster Bay Golf Links is just a par-70, playing under 6,700 yards from the championship tees. But a collection of long par 4s and short 4s that require deft shot placement give the golf course plenty of teeth, despite opening over two decades ago.

The course is located just north of the South Carolina/North Carolina border off Highway 179 business in Brunswick County.
