Perhaps aided by droves of thankful Northerners escaping to warmer climes from the teeth of winter, resort courses dominated the Power Rankings once again on GolfAdvisor. High-end resorts in Florida, Texas, Nevada, Arizona and California all placed courses for the week of Feb. 16.
Checking in on top for the week is the Palmer Course at the La Cantera Hill Country Resort in San Antonio. It narrowly edged out the TPC Las Vegas, one of two Las Vegas golf courses to make the top 10.
"This course is awesome and probably the best value for the money on the golf planet," wrote golfer cpiman, a low-handicapper who says he plays golf all over the U.S. "The course was in excellent shape and it offered many challenges."
