do you have to enter anything into the phone or the watch before you start the round
You have to start the round on the watch which powers up the GPS and select the right course to play. No phone needed.
Just got my shot scope v3 and downloaded the app, is it possible to edit scores after completing your round, also I cannot find the shot chart in the app has this been removed in latest firmware?
Have upgraded from V2 to V3. Always found to be fairly accurate (checked with a laser). Good advantage of the green front, middle, back feature is good from any approach (even if from the wrong fairway :-0).Never had a problem with the watch finding the correct club though I do wear my watch fairly low on my wrist.V3 is a big improvement on V2 - sleeker aesthetics and much better battery life - after 1 round battery still has 60%+ life so more than enough for 2 rounds in a day and much quicker charging.Data analytics gives me all the information I need.
The watch would be greater if it could scan the tag when you put the club in you hand, versus having to hold it near the watch strap to scan the club.
Here my comments, it a great device, the one improvement that would make it greater would be allowing the watch to pick up the tags with having to hold or near the watch band. By having the watch pick up the club when you put the club in you hand will reduce the edits that are required after the round.
Can't sync android phone to V3 keeps saying wrong code or timed out. Any advice please
Contact support team at shotscope - have always found they respond very quickly.
Just bought the V3 watch. Can't believe that I can't display the distance that I hit my shot!! It's a nice watch and I guess very accurate but I had a Garmin watch before and I really miss this feature. Surely they can upgrade the software to incorporate this feature?
When I wear watches that don't have the instant shot measuring display i definitely miss it, totally agree.
HiNot the most tech savvy. How do I know if the tags are synced? Played a round and can’t determine if they are working..Thank you for some adviceDan
