Spring is coming. We promise. But in the meantime, where the weather has been more than tolerable, golfers have been teeing it up and fortunately, for us, giving us their opinions.
Golfers contributed nearly 8,000 reviews in the month of February, and not surprisingly, the top-rated courses pretty much came from the states where the weather is warmer this time of year. Perennial favorite Rams Hill led the way for three courses from California, garnering the top spot in our overall rankings once again. (Rams Hill's next door neighbor Borrego Springs Resort Golf Club & Spa came in at no. 8) and the Norman Course at PGA West is no. 4).
Three courses from Florida made the list, while two courses from Arizona made the cut. Our no. 2 entry, the Billy Casper-Greg Nash-designed Lexington Course at Revere Golf Club in Las Vegas, represents Nevada, while Georgia got the no. 10 spot with the King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort.
As the weather warms, expect this list to expand, but in the meantime, this is a pretty good guide if you're looking to play anytime soon.
