As we hit the waning weeks of the fall golf season in the North, courses in Arizona and Florida are back to controlling most of the Golf Advisor top 10. But there is a notable exception this week, Crestview Country Club in Massachusetts, which earned the top spot above top resort golf courses in Florida.
Crestview, designed by Geoffrey Cornish, appears to be the benefactor of a successful outing by the Safari Club, many of whom took to Golf Advisor to praise their experience at Crestview. It helps that the fall foliage was in full display on this western Massachusetts course.
"Played here with the Safari Club and what a great experience it was for me and all our members," wrote Bullguy. "Course is in IMMACULATE shape and is one of the very best layouts to be found anywhere in the northeast."
The Safari Club also played Red Tail Golf Club, which also cracked the top 10.
