In south Florida, Palm Beach Gardens Golf Course has a new name, Sandhill Crane Golf Course, and it can add a new feather in its cap: ratings strong enough to make it the top course of the week on Golf Advisor.
Sandhill Crane, a Palm Beach Gardens municipal course, changed its name back in June as part of a Web site relaunch. Its ratings are trending upwards as well. In the past six months, 5-star reviews have outpaced 4-star reviews 21 to 14 (including zero one- or two-star reviews).
"One of the prettiest courses I've played down here," wrote Steve1339504. "As it is set in such a beautiful natural setting. Very well kept and many interesting holes. If you like nature you will notice many unusual plants and flowers."
