This week, a lesser known golf course near the Village of Pinehurst is at the top of Power Rankings. 7 Lakes Country Club, a local favorite, is the top-rated course by Golf Advisor reviewers. 7 Lakes is located in West End, N.C., the same town as Coore-Crenshaw's Dormie Club and minutes from the Pinehurst-Southern Pines golf mecca.
"The greens and fairways are the best I have ever seen them," bobmargaret wrote. "The staff is also equally as outstanding."

Small greens make this course tough. Otherwise, nothing remarkable. Greenskeeper needs to position pins fairly. My uphill putt on 18 went to the lip of the cup, then rolled back a foot. Ridiculous.
What a gem this place is. Mike and his staff are so welcoming. Prices are great, course is even better!
