I started playing Pro V1s about 8 years ago when I started noticing other balls just didn't have the same action off the tee or around the green. It means a lot to know the ball is going to react consistently and all I need to focus on is my swing. The yardage is even pretty close in cold weather such as what we have this time of year. Can't wait to try out the new version.

I find the markings on the Titliest Pro V1 are discreet and don't distract the players focus on the shot

I Love playing Titleist pro v. And Titleist pro v x and will play the new pro v s it's Funny all other brands compare there's to Titleist pro v , pro v putts very true and I find hits tighter to the pins ,

Been using the AVX for quite a while. Love that ball. If they come up with something better, I’m in.

I'm 63 with a 20 handicap. I've played ProV1's up against the TrueSoft, now Truefeel, and find them very comparable using a driver. Long, straight and soft, with good greens sticking with irons. When I don't feel like risking a $4 ball over water, I'll play the Callaway Chrome Soft, Super Soft, and Noodle balls. Overall, the ProV1 is the best ball I've ever played, but I think too much about losing one instead of concentrating on my shot!

What I need is a sugar mama to fund unlimited supplies of them, so losing one is no big deal. Oh well, I can dream, can't I?

Titleist sued Costco when Costco came out with a ball many said was comparable to a ProV1 at half the price. There’re was no copying, just good engineering and cheap marketing—so Titleist had to get their lawyers to drum up an attack on how it was marketed as a Kirkland Signature ball and Costco claims that their Kirkland Signature items are “as good as anything on the market.” Basically Titleist couldn’t compete fairly and so they sued.

So no Titleist anything for me, ever.

Love the yellow AVX! As a 15 handicap senior it gives me distance and love how it rolls off my putter.

Have always preferred Titleist balls and have recently switched to the yellow ball for the same reason others have: easier to see and find (I'm 73). I do play the yellow ProV1x now but am particularly fond of the yellow AVX, which is short supply in my area.
I've played them all, but have always gone back to the best.

I played Pro v goofballs for years. Then I couldn't follow the flight of them and went to Titleist yellow balls so I could see them and not ask where did my ball go. I am now bak to pro v balls since they came out in yellow. I have tried other brands and always come back. I just seem to have much better control with them. Pro v for ever.

I am about a 10-12 hcp and have tried many of the premium golf balls. At 5’8” 135lbs soaking wet, my swing speed is without a doubt below 100mph. While I can say nothing bad about the Pro-V1 & X, they are not the best for me. The X flies far & straight off the tee, but is too hard & “klanky” around the greens. The Pro-V1 is THE best around the greens but I put too much side spin on them off the tee and don’t hit them as straight. The answer for me is the Bridgestone Tour B RX. It’s combination of distance, feel & greenside spin makes it my overall favorite. And cement cart paths aside, it is very durable.
