BERLIN, Md. -- Opened in 1997, Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links is one of the Ocean City area's favorites for locals and visitors alike.
Designed by Pete and P.B. Dye, the golf course sits on Sinepuxent Bay overlooking Assateague National Seashore Park. The seaside location translates into water, bunkers and bayside views on nearly every hole. While not exactly a links course, it does have sort of a Scottish feel, especially when the wind is blowing.
The ninth and 18th holes mirror each other, ending below the deck of an inviting clubhouse that serves, of course, rum.
Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links is the only course in the area to feature bentgrass from tees to greens.
