Spring has sprung: Power Rankings for the month of April

With spring in full blossom across most of the U.S., we decided to break down which courses received the most love from Golf Advisor reviewers during the first full month of the season.

Not surprisingly, Sun Belt destinations are still garnering the most reviews, with courses from Florida, Las Vegas, Texas, Tucson, and southern California finishing the month in the top 10 overall. (EagleSticks Golf Club in Zanesville, Ohio, the lone course from outside the Sun Belt in the overall category, finished sixth.)

The Jack Nicklaus designed North/South/East Courses at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fla. finished atop the April rankings in both the overall and conditioning categories.

In his April 24 review, Modesto7834356 wrote that the North/South/East trio at Grand Cypress is one of the best courses he has played. "In my top ten."

lpalestina, a 15-19 handicap from Louisiana, played the course April 18 and wrote: "I am visiting from New Orleans and decided on getting a round in before I returned home. My son suggested we play at the Grand Cypress and I was impressed with the friendly people that worked there as well as the condition of the course. I plan to return in a month so I can play their 'new course' and I am sure it will also be enjoyable."
