Top 10 courses in New Jersey according to Golf Advisor reviews

New Jersey -- home to arguably the nation's most coveted round of golf, Pine Valley -- plays a vital role in serving the public golfers up and down the eastern seaboard, including metro Philly and New York City golfers. It's also home to some great summer getaways, including the courses near Atlantic City and the huge Crystal Springs Resort up in Sussex County, home to 90 holes.

Golfers have spoken and we've determined the 10 best courses in the state according to ratings and reviews throughout 2015. Scores were gathered using a mix of a course's overall and subcategory ratings. You can view course details by clicking on their course page to see what golfers like about each course.

Any list of best public courses in NJ that doesn't include Atlantic City CC or Shore Gate isn't very credible. Same holds true for Architects Club, even though it's located in remote part of the state.

Atlantic CC has only three reviews on our site, so it didn't qualify (but all three reviews are 5 stars). Architects on the other hand seemed to have a fairly average year in 2015 ratings-wise.
