Top 20 courses in Georgia according to Golf Advisor reviews in 2015

It seems in the pantheon of Georgia golf courses, there's Augusta National and everything else. The Masters certainly casts a long shadow, but it brings the golfing world to the Peach State, where a tour of some of the top courses reveal plenty to be discovered. Georgia has courses ranging from the coast to the mountains and everything in between.

Golfers rated the following courses as the 20 best in Georgia in 2015. To calculate the rating, we used a combination of a course's overall rating and subcategory ratings throughout the year. The result is a nice mix of semi-private courses from around the Atlanta area to some charming resort courses and hidden gems throughout the state.

You can click on each course guide page to view full rating and review details.

Wow I have only played university of Georgia. We're is the love for out west.

I don't see Kinderlou Forest Golf Club at Valdosta listed in the above group. Kinderlou Forest, by Davis Love in 04, is rated a full 5-stars by almost everyone who plays it. It can be a beast from the 7,700+ back (black tees), but a pleasure if played from any of the forward tees. Has anyone out there played it?

It only has two reviews on GA, so not enough to qualify for the list. Looks nice though http://www.golfadvisor.com/courses/25541-kinderlou-forest-golf-club/

How Sea Island isn't on this list is unimaginable. I've played several of these courses and while great courses in their own rigjt most don't even come close to comparing to any of the 3 Sea Island courses.

Agree, we hear great things. Just needs more reviews to qualify. Not enough in 2015.
