Pacific perfection: Favorite photos from the best golf courses in Hawaii

I've been fortunate enough to tee it up on four of the five major Hawaiian islands within the past three years. I can't wait to some day play golf on Lanai, but I've had fun exploring Oahu, Maui, the Big Island and Kauai.

Golf doesn't get more beautiful than in the Hawaiian islands, a tropical paradise where the palm trees sway, volcanic mountain ranges soar and the Pacific Ocean shimmers in the sun. Each island has its merits.

Maui has the most famous track, the Plantation Course at Kapalua, host of the PGA Tour's first tournament of the calendar year. Oahu has built the most courses. Kauai's courses offer some of the best ocean views in the world.

The best weather comes courtesy of the Big Island's Kona coast. These golf photos best showcase the beauty of the Hawaiian islands.
