We dug into the ratings submitted between Nov. 1, 2014 and Feb. 23, 2015 to see which courses have fared best thus far.

Courses needed a minimum of 10 reviews to qualify.

Top 10 overall courses in Naples-Fort Myers

1. Heron's Glen Golf & Country Club, North Fort Myers: This semi-private facility was designed by Ron Garl and has had a strong winter season on GolfAdvisor, checking in at no. 1 in overall and value categories.

Top 500 contributor Jetsamoji, a 15-19 handicap, wrote:

"This course has some great signature holes and is just an all-around great place to play."

He also gave Verandah Golf Club, which came in a close second, five stars as well.

How can Heron's Glen be the #1 course when members gave it a 2.3 rating and only 36% recommend the course??? Hard to trust any of the ratings
