Best of 2018: Oregon

The best golf courses open to the public according to golfer reviews
The fourth green on the Pacific Dunes Course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is located at the edge of a cliff.

The yearly Golf Advisor state best-of lists are compiled by analyzing the ratings and reviews submitted by members of our community throughout the year. We use our Golf Advisor Index logic that weights newer reviews and combine it with a course's weighted subcategory averages. Reviews from trusted and active reviewers are weighted heavier than inactive members.

Courses must offer public access and have received at least one review in 2018 to be eligible for this year's list.

Aspen Lakes not on the list and Quail Valley is?

That alone makes this list questionable.

I've played Aspen Lakes. Very nice. It also went into bankruptcy last year. Hope it makes it through to the other side. https://www.ktvz.com/news/aspen-lakes-golf-course-files-for-chapter-11-bankruptcy/762846705

How could Old McDonald not make this list??!!
World class course in a unique setting. While I hail from NC, I have played Old MaC four times and marveled at its splendor and challenge each time.
