Best of 2018: Top 25 golf courses rated by value

The best bargains in golf according to your ratings and reviews throughout the year.
A giant American flag is visible on several points on Pinon Hills Golf Course, including the par-4 11th.

We examined your ratings and reviews submitted in 2018 to determine which courses were considered the best value by golfers like you.

Value is one of our six subcategory star ratings a golfer ran rate when submitting a review to Golf Advisor. To many golfers, the price paid for a round can be the most important factor in deciding whether to return. While Midwestern and deep south states tended to fare the best in regards to value, courses from all four corners of the country were considered a supreme bargain.

We've included a quote about each course from a member of our reviews community that sheds some light into what made them feel like they received a great deal.

I agree with Russ that Juniper is wow, as are 2 other John Harbottle Washington courses.Olympic course at Gold Mountian in Bremerton and Palouse Ridge in Pullman. All 3 are great value, great design, and great fun to play.

No way that Pine Dunes in Frankston, TX, is not on this list.

How is Bethpage Black not on this list? Major championship course under $150 for non residents and $75 for residents.

I’ve played 3 of the 4 courses listed in Michigan. I haven’t played Holly Meadows. I can say that the value is great and the courses are always in great shape. You can’t beat the values Uber $40 during the week. One other one is Leslie Park in Ann Arbor senior rare is $25 m-f and was was rated in the top ten on another survey

Meadow Lakes at #9 is way over rated for value. It’s flat with lots of water. Closely spaces holes and not a lot of interest. It’s low cost, but it’s not worth the $$$.

A much better value in the area is Juniper Golf in Redmond. You wil play it and go WOW! This is a muni???

Forrest Oaks CC in Greensboro NC should definitely be on this list. A former PGA stop which can be played for under 50$. Are there any other PGA quality courses for this value?

Very surprised there are no great value CA courses. I play some beautiful CA courses every week for under $50.
