Buddy Trip Captains: an exclusive invitation to Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort

Golf Advisor Getaways will be heading to Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort September 19-22, 2019

Dear Buddy Trip Captain,

Perhaps one of the great vacation secrets around the world is the Emerald Coast of Florida. Its brilliant white-sand beaches are among the very best on any U.S. coastline, and the area has an unpretentious laid-back vibe.

The golf there is exceptional as well. And the perfect time to visit? That would be fall, when the temperatures are a little milder, and the courses are in perfect condition.

Which is exactly when we're inviting you to take a sneak peek VIP tour at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, which not only boasts four championship level golf courses designed by some of the best in the business, but the aforementioned pristine beaches and emerald green water as well as world-class tennis, marina, shopping, fitness center, spa and The Village of Baytowne Wharf, just to name a few.

The Miramar Beach, Fla., area trip is scheduled for Oct. 8-10, 2018.

We’re confident that once you see this wonderful and affordable resort, you’ll agree that Sandestin is the perfect destination for a fun and affordable buddy trip.

This sneak preview includes an optional bonus round on The Links Golf Course at Sandestin, starting at 12:30 p.m., on Monday, the 8th. The Links, with five holes perched along Choctawhatchee Bay, is the original course at the resort.
The round at The Links Course is just the appetizer, though. On Tuesday, you'll get to play the Raven Golf Course, a wonderful 6,900-yard Robert Trent Jones Jr., design and the former site of a PGA Tour Champions event. It's beautiful, strategic and most of all, fun.

And on Wednesday, you'll be playing golf at Burnt Pine Golf Club (the resort's private club that's open to resort guests and members only) and has ranked among the top 100 resort courses in America by Golfweek magazine. Designed by RTJ Jr.'s brother Rees Jones (AKA, the Open Doctor) Burnt Pine takes advantage of Choctawhatchee Bay, where the back nine rolls along the wetlands.

That's 54 holes of golf you can play, but there's plenty more to enjoy during this special orientation trip.

On Monday night, there's a welcome reception at the Ballyhoo Bar in the Grand Sandestin lobby, hosted by Golf Advisor editor-at-large and TV personality Matt Ginella.

And the trip comes with wonderful meals, including dinner at the Marina Bar and Grill, overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay.

You'll also have free time to explore this wonderful 2,400-acre resort, whether it's relaxing at the beach or the pool, biking, various watersports or taking in a light tackle fishing charter.

Accommodations are at the Grand Sandestin Hotel, and there are several options, starting at $825 for a one-bedroom suite (single occupancy) and $700 per person (double occupancy) for a two-bedroom suite. Spaces are limited, so you'll want to act soon so you don't miss this opportunity.

We have several other exclusive Golf Advisor scouting trips also available; Boyne, August 27 – 29 and Kiawah Island Golf Resort, November 12 – 14.
