Worst than baywood

You think baywood is bad? Stryker said hold my beer. This course is the equivalent to dumpster diving for golf. Military pay $30-40 the civilian pays a little more than that but it’s not worth it.

The range I run down-mats only. The fairways look green from a distance but it’s not grass. It’s all weeds and hard sand. The greens are mediocre.

But the saving grace is the customer service is top notch. Super friendly people and very accommodating. Too bad this course is super bad.

Great For The Money

I played 9 holes ( front 9). Course is very forgiving with wide fairways. Greens need some love, but figured it was because it was so early in the season.

One of the Army's best!

Finally writing a review for a course I play often. If you are looking for an enjoyable round of golf for a great price on a well manicured course then this is it. Greens are in awesome shape after the heat of summer. They hold on approach shots and roll true on the putts. Pace of play is always one of the best. I walked on this day and was done in under 3 hours after playing through three different foursomes. Carts have GPS if you choose to ride. Course is not overly hard but it has some good holes that make you choose the appropriate club off the tee. The club house staff is always the friendliest of any pro shop I've been in. There is a great selection of clubs and apparel if you are in the market. No sales tax either. There is a small cafe open from 1100-1500 for the lunch crowd. Nice facilities and a locker room. Practice range is mats for hitting and a good putting green for practice. This is a great place to take newer golfers to grow the game. Plus juniors play for free, up to 16 that is. One of the militaries best courses outside of Hawaii.

Great military course

One of the best military courses I played. Course is in great shape, all areas are nicely cut and maintained, greens are in great shape. Long course, 6625 yards from the white Ts, but very forgiving fairways. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing that needs improvement is the practice range fairway and markers. Otherwise, Strongly recommend it.
