One of the Army's best!
Finally writing a review for a course I play often. If you are looking for an enjoyable round of golf for a great price on a well manicured course then this is it. Greens are in awesome shape after the heat of summer. They hold on approach shots and roll true on the putts. Pace of play is always one of the best. I walked on this day and was done in under 3 hours after playing through three different foursomes. Carts have GPS if you choose to ride. Course is not overly hard but it has some good holes that make you choose the appropriate club off the tee. The club house staff is always the friendliest of any pro shop I've been in. There is a great selection of clubs and apparel if you are in the market. No sales tax either. There is a small cafe open from 1100-1500 for the lunch crowd. Nice facilities and a locker room. Practice range is mats for hitting and a good putting green for practice. This is a great place to take newer golfers to grow the game. Plus juniors play for free, up to 16 that is. One of the militaries best courses outside of Hawaii.
Nice
This is a great course for the money. Great staff. Course fairways are a bit rough in places and need some love. Otherwise, good challenges on several holes. Greens in good shape
The Greens are amazing
The course layout is good and the pace of play was smooth. The greens were amazing though.
Greens are in great shape!
Greens are in great shape, and the rest of the course is growing in nicely. I expect the fairways should be good in a few weeks as well. Overall, a really good course for the price.
Bald Faiways
Don’t waste your time playing at Stryker unless you like hitting you 2nd shots off the sand. The fairways are full of them. The greens are not bad. So unless you’re playing only par 3s, I’d recommend you stay away.
Stay away
Hands down the worst course I’ve ever been on.
Over crowed with people that practice Zero golf etiquette. The fairways were awful. Covered in pine needles and had no grass. Took 30 minutes to get a $8 packaged sandwich at the turn because employees just taking their time with everything. An absolute disaster of a course.
Course Conditions
The course conditions are horrible right now, fairways no matter where, are patchy, tee boxes are horrendous, greens are okay but everywhere else on the course is just awful.
