One of many great views. Photo submitted by u000002852979 on 05/29/2020
Not so Grand for the $
I've played @ other courses for half the price. There are numerous courses to play within a 45min to an 1hrs drive that half the price.
Great Day Away
The course was wet from overnight rain which made hitting out of bunkers very difficult, but overall really enjoyed the course. Nice layout. always enjoy playing at the Grandover. Will be back for sure.
Soggy/cart path only
The course probably should have been closed after getting 1-2 inches of rain the previous evening/overnight, even the range was closed. We were basically alone yet took ~5 hours to play due to extremely wet, muddy conditions and cart path only - every shot the ball was in standing water. Overall a disappointing first visit, especially for the price, to what looks like a great course in normal conditions. Will likely return on a sunny day.
Very good condition even after heavy rains on prior day green we 9 out of 10 bent grass but soon to be redone with bermuda
Great Course
Visiting from out of town. Course was in excellent condition especially this time of year. Layout was really good with good variety of shots required. I can’t wait to return again.
Nice course, extremely slow play
Nice course to play, but after 4 hours and we were on hole 14; we'd had enough. 9 of the first 13 holes the group in front of us was still on the tee when we got there.
Good
Range balls should be included IMO.
Also need a ranger out there to push pace if play. Not always but this occasion we needed it.
Quiet day
Nice fast greens. Decent fairways. Great staff. Carts are creaky but apparently new ones coming. All in all - a nice round…
My favorite of the 2 courses ( East )
Always play the Beast of the East course at GrandOver Resort but I think my favorite is the West Course.
The course is in great condition
Fairways are good...greens are pretty close to perfect
Granfd
Course was in great shape and the early tee time we never saw anyone except later tee times playing the front nine Starter was great and egg bacon cheese croissant was big and delicious.
Great course
West course was in great condition. Busy day on the course, but play pace was very good.
Bunkers need some work.
Overall, the course was in good shape. However, the bunkers were terrible. I was only in 2 greenside bunkers, but both were VERY hard and both times my ball rolled to the bottom of the bunker. The bottoms were dried clay hardpan. Practically impossible to play a normal sand shot.
