Decent course, ok greens
I think the greens are decent. Design is ok except for #18. Cart paths on the back nine are very narrow. Driving range is beat up. Worth the deals on Golfnow.
Nice challenge and will play there again in my mix.
Front 9 enhancements we're great with some good challenges. Back nine is getting there but needs the 18th hole redesigned. Great value overall.
SLOW pace.
Let’s start by saying, the course is nice, but there’s apartments being built on hole #1 and #2… which wasn’t an issue until the I couldn’t see the green on the #2 par 3 due to construction fencing (short black plastic fencing, but still). The front 9 was definitely more difficult for me, but the back had plenty of challenges itself. The overall condition was nice. The greens were a little long which made them fairly slow, but they weren’t terrible. The rough is ROUGH. It’s traditional Bermuda thick grass that will completely swallow a ball to where you can hardly see it. The fairways were very nicely maintained.
The BAD - pace of play was absolutely treacherous. I ended up skipping two holes to go around 4 foursomes. There’s no marshal to monitor, or adjust the tempo, and tee times are not monitored AT ALL.
Overall verdict - I really enjoyed the course. Everything about it was great, but the tee time management was so bad I can’t recommend it. In the middle of the week it’s probably fine, but on a Sunday afternoon it’s unbearable. As long as you have money to spend, they’ll throw you in there. It’s worth $10 more to me to go to other courses that are manicured just as well (if not better) and also manage pace of play.
Long thick roughs
Fairways in good condition. Roughs very long and thick, making it difficult to find the ball and significantly slowing play. Sand traps hard packed and populated with small stones. Some greens held the approach shot. Greens rolled true and were medium to slow speed.
Overpriced for an Average Course
It had been a year since my son and I player here. The back nine had quite a few repaved cart paths. There were no maintenance people seen and conditions were average. The rough is clutching grass. It is hard to find your ball and hard to hit. There are many better condition and less expensive courses in the area.
good luck finding your golf ball !!
I've never played this course before. Its a beautiful layout, but if you are a high handicapper, don't bother. The bermuda rough is not trimmed and if you miss the fairway, the rough literally eats your ball (maybe one bounce with no roll). You need to remember EXACTLY where your ball lands or you'll probably never see it again. I showed up for my afternoon tee time, and the guy in the pro shop informed me that if I wanted to play 18 holes, I would have to play the front nine twice, since " we have a large group coming to play at 5PM." Most of the fairways are pretty narrow, and I lost 10 balls in 9 holes and left. The only way I'll play this course again is if I become a 5-handicap golfer (and that will never happen).
The course was in good condition
The course has a good layout. There are a few sharp doglegs where you need to hit your tee shot the right distance. Overall the course had good conditions. Will definitely play it again.
Challenging course
Fairways were good. Roughs were long. Sand traps were hard packed. Greens rolled true, were medium to slow speed, did not hold the approach shot.
It’s in great shape
The greens and fairways were in great shape.the tee times were better than most and the rate was as good as it’s been lately… this use to be the norm before T Off was bought out. Hope to see more like this in the future.
The course was in excellent shape from tee to green. Fairways were lush and greens were true.
