Tregaron Golf Course

went Thanksgiving, it was great the course was in top condition and we had a great time. i shot 78

Unusually warm weather caused my decision to play and I needed to rent clubs. They had one set left but it had 2-3woods, 2-8 irons, and no driver or 5-iron. There was also no club capable of getting a ball out of a sand trap around the green. When I returned the set I let the worker know about the duplications and omissions. he was very rude and said he only got a rental every moth or two. These were clubs you could buy at K-Mart and the grips were slick. They also had clods of dirt on them. The cart paths were broken terribly on most every hole although the greens and fairways in decent with the exception of hundreds of unrepaired ball marks. Won't return...

Sunny but cold breezy day. Tregaron is my favourite course in the Omaha area that I've played since starting to visit here 6 years ago. It is a wonderfully diverse course with parkland, lakes and even a links feel to some of the holes. It is suffering storm effects at the moment on the back-9, there is some subsidence around this area and the rain has washed away most of the sand from the bunkers. That said the majority of the holes and most of the fairways are in superb condition, greens are lightening fast but soft enough to take approach shots.

They take great care of their course, beautiful greens and a challenge. Would love it if they had a driving range, but otherwise it is a joy to play!

First time playing this course and from the Pro Shop personnel to the final hole, the experience was excellent. Played with one of the of the regulars ( 80 year old) who provided course guidance and entertainment that made for fun / fruitful playing. The course was in excellent shape...fairways were green and nicely cut and the greens were fast. It was a pleasure to play.

Played this course a couple of times before this and enjoyed it, hence why I came back. This time the greens were in need of some care(alot), the teeboxes were bad, and the traps were just ponds. The worst thing was pace of play; we had two adults and two kids...and we were waiting on every single shot. No marshall, no pace of play awareness, and no patience from the group behind us; they could see the group in front of us but still thought it a delight to hit into us.

Here's the bottom line...

If you want to play a solid course but are willing to gamble on condition, management, and time...go for it. TaraHills much better choice!

The pace of play was great, with 3 players, we finished at 3.5 hrs.

My favorite course in the Omaha area for a reason. Very reasonably priced, great maintenance and a hard-working staff. Keep up the good work

Tregaron is a very good course for the price. It is a unique course, with some tough pin placements. It is an absolute steal for the price.

Great course with a good challenge to it. Also a nice variety of layouts.

Went with 2 foursomes for a bachelor party. Had a great time and the greens and tee boxes were perfect.

Loved the course. Only complaint would be the tee boxes were not level so felt you stance was uneven. Loved the fast greens
