After a rain the day before
Course is in good shape. Tee boxes are terrific and greens are good. Mother nature made it a very soggy fairways
Nice Course
It was really beautiful, but as a woman, its a pretty long course. Getting to the green in regulation proved difficulty particularly on the par 4s. But I would play again. My boyfriend really liked the course as well. Well worth the money.
Thanks Golfnow for allowing us the opp to play here!
Slow play no Ranger
Course needs Ranger patrols to speed up Slow players
Worth every penny
The course was in great shape and played amazing. First time and the practice facility was very nice. The course was a touch wet due to recent hurricanes and cold rainy weather, but only had 1 shot plug all day. Great drainage and pace of play. The greens are the best I’ve seen at a public course in Charlotte. Worth every dollar.
Best course in the area
First time playing here since the redesign, and it is awesome. The layout is great. Challenging but fair. The course is maintained very very well. Food at the turn is restaurant quality. I will be back many times for sure.
Terrific
Great greens and fairways!
Well maintained course great practice area!
Front nine is easier than back nine. Wide open fairways and picturesque holes.
Back nine much narrower with blind tee shots.
You need to pick and hit your targets.
Great course thumbs up
Wow! What a successful renovation.
Great experience! Played here about 4 years ago and thought I'd never return. After complete renovation the place us superb. Great fairways, greens, bunkers, carts, staff, range, et. al. I will be back.
Getting better
Played, and reviewed, it 4 weeks ago and this was a HUGE improvement. There was very little of the winter damage left that they shut the course down to repair. Still cart path only, but much more enjoyable than last time.
I didn't get to finish my round because I had a situation at home, but everything I saw was great!
Must play, but clear up 5 hours
Popular place so expect slow play. Crowded no matter what day and time. Only clears off about 6pm on the front.
Must play. Still.considered a minicipal....but could easily be considered semi private. Conditions rival a private course. Good clubhouse but it doesn't have showers, weight room and other thins a private course has.
Great restaurant. Challenging layout. Par 3s are short. Greens are like glass. Has GPS on carts but are not accurate, about 20 yards off in most cases.
Wouldn't pay $45 but the hot deal of $25 is worth every penny.
Very solid course
Greens 4.25
fairways able to play ball down 3.75
bunkers 4.5
layout 4.25
clubhouse 5.0
practice area 4.75
overall rating 4.4
Great Course
I've been playing this course for 20 years and when I played it 3 months ago it was in the worst shape I ever saw it. They lost half the greens due to winter kill so they closed the course for about a month to bring it back into shape, They did a remarkable job and it is now in great shape.
Solid features fun greens
Th best warm up chilling and putting greens are solid. Tee boxes are in great shape as well as the greens. Some soggy spots in the fairway but all in all this course is in excellent shape.
First Time Was Nice
Great condition course
Will go again
Best public course around
The course has made a 180 flip from what it used to be like. This course has improved to be over average course. I love a course with good greens and this one has it. On 2-3 holes the greens are still in repair and a few bare spots in the fairway. However that can not take away from the course layout, new club house, close practice area, good looking golf carts, and the true greens. The course is a challenge, but that’s what makes it in enjoyable. Hit fairways and greens and getting out of there rough won’t be a problem. 10/10 recommend to anyone that asks.
