Great course
The weather was perfect today. A little breezier than predicted, but overall ideal for golf.
The course was amazing. I thought it would be super hard, but it was not hard at all.
The downer is they have no driving range and the first hole will test your shot selection. You can drive over the little gully but to make it easy, you’ll need to keep it straight.
Overall, I would love to come back and play this course again.
Omaha's oremier Course
This course is awesome. It's well maintained and the staff is great. Hole #1 is my favorite!
Fun course
Fun course. Golfed early morning, gets really busy as the day gets going and PoP slows quite a bit. That being said, it has its challenges, but offers a great opportunity to improve ones game. Greens were a challenge, it's all in the game. Was a great day on the links.
Nice course
It's a nice course. It's well laid out. I just had a bad round.
Great day for some golf
Course was in good condition. Tee boxes were a little beat up but just looked like they had been really busy. Tee times were back to back to back so the pace of play was a little slow. Greens were in good shape and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
nice course
very nice course. was there on a really hot day. staff was very helpful, especially when our cart died on the back 9. was right there and traded carts with us so we didn't have to wait. will play again
Fair challenge
Not the longest course. Most challenges are found in the club selection dealing with terrain and dog legs. Some roller coaster greens and well placed sand traps (ask me how i know). Fun time!
Tough but good
As a mid handicapper I found this course to be tough in the first nine but better in the back half. It’s a good course to play with it’s bunkers well kept and the fairways easy to hit in.
Great local course - Excellent upkeep - Awesome short game practice area
Pacific Springs is a fun course that has a great location that is easily accessible. (The only other course nearby is Private) Pac is shorter than other courses in Omaha, but you have to be smart off the tee. You can't just let loose with driver on every hole like a few other courses in town. The greens can be challenging with all the undulations. They keep the course and greens in great shape, but they get so many players through the course it would be detrimental to make the greens play fast. (though when they have an inter-club event they can make them move quick)
The course is very popular for outings, and it is packed on nice days. I think that speaks to how fun the course is, and how it's a good value.
i recommend this course to anyone in town. There are other courses in Omaha that are nicer, but they are not as close to Omaha, and they costs a lot more.
Over Booked, Over booked, Over Booked
If you like waiting five minutes between each shot, this course might be for you.
If you would like crowded tee boxes with multiple groups waiting to tee off, this course might be for you.
I've played this course a few times and each time the course was over booked to the point that slowed play down to five hours to play 18 holes. Didn't see a ranger all day, no one to monitor the speed of play.
Would rather play a course in bad shape where you actually get to play.
Challenging course
Course management is the name of the game at atleast for me. Errant tee shots can get you into trouble. Greens were in decent shape. Had recently been ariated but very receptive.
Pace of play alone lowers the overall rating. 18-hole round took 4h45m. Rangers were visible but did little to improve pace of slower player. Our group waited on each and every shot. Will only return if pace of play issues are addressed.
Nice condition and interesting.
Not a bad course. It's short. There's no getting around that. Even so, it takes some skill to score. No really absurd holes and nice greens.
