My “feel good” course
This is the Course You go Play, when you need to feel good about your game. It’s a relatively short course compared to other but it has a very nice layout with wide fairways and greens that are easy to roll up to, not too many obstacles. Overall a fun course to play. I found the greens and fairways in decent condition and certainly a good value.
Great staff: friendly, organized and knowledgeable
RGA is a great “home” course. The greens on the Stockholders (9) are looking good this season — the repair work is paying off.
Club staff are always friendly and easy to engage with to address special requests.
Fun place to play!
RGA offers everything you need to have fun on the golf course. Fairways and tee boxes are in great shape for the most part. Greens are in good condition and roll well. For a shorter course it can be challenging at times. How's the standard shortcomings (cart paths and rough areas) that of course without a high budget would have. Staff is always friendly and accommodating! For the money it's well worth it!
Decent place to play
Greens could really use some help. Overall it was a nice day to play golf. But the club has barely enough golf carts and this was on a weekday.
RGA
Great value for the price. Played here back to back days. Staff are incredibly friendly. Course could definitely use some love but didn’t expect much in February. The front is in better shape than the back. But great layout that will challenge your ability to navigate the course and greens rolled faster than they look. Will be returning!
Good course, tough conditions
I like the course layout, and the price, but some of the fairways around 16-18 are hard dirt, rocks, acorns, amd the greens have a lot of blemishes making it difficult for a smooth putt
Nice local muni
Greens and tee boxes were in pretty rough shape. Can’t expect much in these winter months. Hopefully rebounds in the Spring time
Good course
Couple of greens have some imperfections. Just a little bumpy. Few of the tee boxes sub par as well. Everything else is pretty well kept. Greens rolling fast this time of year be careful.
No Carts
Showed up early for our tee time at 11:30, only to find out the course had already run out of golf carts. We were waiting until around Noon for another cart to open up. Spoke to a man who worked at the course, who was unapologetic for the inconvenience. The same person allowed two individuals in two separate golf carts to drive right past him and continue their round after the turn. I had no idea why he wouldn't demand people to consolidate golf carts at that point, with so many people waiting around to play. There was also a starter (who for some unknown reason to me) who was riding around in his own cart, not doing anything helpful. I've played a number of times at RGA, but Saturday was an absolute disaster and I won't soon be returning.
