Played it many times and course does have fairway and rough same height. That said, some holes very easy and some hard.

They have done a lot of work putting course back in shape

This course has postage stamp-sized greens and red hot dogs for lunch. If you don't like either of these things, you probably should go elsewhere. You will hit every single fairway, because there is no discernible rough. This is great because bad shots can end up okay, but you'll need to ride ahead to see which direction to drive the ball on a few holes. I also got stuck behind some folks playing side-to-side golf and I honestly didn't care, so the pace could have been better if I asserted myself.

Only 30 minutes away from my house. There is no first cut, fairway cut, or fringe. It is all one cut. That being said, it was all cut very well. Course was in good shape. I will go back on a less busy day. Labor day was too crowded. Nice course.

As you can see by the yardage its not a long course and its not even as long as Golfnow says. It a tad over 5500 yards from the Blue tees. Having said that, Length isn't everything but when we played it something struck me as odd. Before we teed off someone told us that the fairway grass was a little high so you didn't get much roll. Well after hitting one straight down the middle on the first tee, my playing partner and I noticed there seemed to be no rough. All the grass was the same height and almost like short rough. We play the ball down in the rough and roll them in the fairways but you pretty much had to roll them everywhere because there was no rough cut and when you did hit the ball anywhere it would kind of settle down into the grass. It was hard sometimes to get the ball to set up even rolling them. Not sure if this was just a one time thing or if its always like that. It was plenty of grass though and green. I wouldn't drive the distance we did to play it again but if I was in the area I might. It does have some nice holes. Great for beginners. I shot the lowest score I've ever shot but it seems less satisfying because of rolling the ball everywhere but if you played them all down it was like being in rough. Was worth the experience and was a great price on Golfnow.

Overall course was in good shape except for a few greens on the back side that looked like they are in the process of reseeding and filling out. Great course for beginners and novice players but ex[perienced players looking for a challenge may find it a bit boring.

The course is maintained pretty good and greens look good.
