Riegelwood Country Club is a player-friendly, nine-hole layout that has been around since 1960. The golf course is ideal for beginners but it is great for a quick round regardless of skill level. The layout features wide-open fairways that are mostly flat, but there are strategically placed sand bunkers lurking alongside all of them. The golf course is not as seemingly easy as one would think since the open landscape is also subject to strong winds. There are also stands of mature trees throughout as well as waste areas that are waiting to swallow up errant shots. It is not a formidable test by any means but it is not a simple pitch-and-putt either. Players of all skill levels can get some good practice in at Riegelwood Country Club.

Poor management

A friend and I used to play this course every Sunday with a golf now hot deal. On Saturday we decided to play and it was a big mistake. There were two new people in the clubhouse and they treated us like dirt. First of all we accidentally booked a senior tee time and apologized and paid the extra $2. They would not let that go. They were just very rude and after this experience and we will take our money else where. It's a descent course for beginners but they pretty much kicked us out of their "country club". So because of this experience I tell you. DO NOT PLAY AT THIS COURSE!!! There are cheaper courses with actually 18 holes and other staffs that will appreciate your business.
To the woman that ran the clubhouse on Sunday's, thank you for your kindness. We will miss you

Country Club isn't the name for it

There are no "fairways". The course looks like a horribly kept athletic field. There are more weeds than grass and the tee boxes play the same as the rough. Oh and they ONLY TAKE CASH with no ATM available on site.

Sounds like it was a long time ago since your visit with us. We have made many improvements since then. The club has been taking charge card fir 3 years now. Have a variety of shirts, hats, t- shirts with our logo. Different grass on greens. Suggest you give us another try. We always welcome new people to our club with open arms and a smile so please come back to see us.
