Great Value
This relatively short course is fun to walk and a great value at that price. Multiple uphill and downhill holes add interest in a beautiful setting.
Nice and fairly priced course
I like this course. Easy to reach, nice layout, cheap. I would love to have some Par 5s though.
Good Time
Elmwood is a course that the weekend golfer can pad their ego with logging a low score due to so many short holes. As a two-some, we finished an 18 round on a Sunday morning in 2 hours 50 minutes. Of course being one of the first groups out helped as when we left, hole one's tee box area was filled.
Purchase your snacks and beverages at the clubhouse or at hole #10 as there's no cart personnel riding around.

Course needs a new manager
This course needs a new manager badly. We golfed this course on a weekend, and yes i know the courses are busy on the weekends and you can expect some over booking. But this course was so over booked they bumped our tee time back from 1:15 to 1:37. Then there was no beverage cart. Yes they have them they just didn't schedule anyone to work one. Play was beyond slow, with more than one group waiting at the tee boxes. And of course there was NO Marshal out on the course at all !
Good service
Good to great course for the money. Excellent staff. Course was muddy but there's been a lot of rain,not their fault. Challenging greens. Would definitely golf there again.
Quality course for the money. Lots of elevation. Some greens were difficult. Overall it's a course to make it to. Really friendly staff also.
Good city course, tight and short
Really good course in the heart of the city. Its old, so tree lined, tight, and not too long. Always in pretty good condition. Pace of play can suffer, it's a popular place.
Long hitters, leave your woods in the trunk and practice your wedge game.

Except for divots on the greens.... the course was great. Love the trees.
Short and easy
Great short public course where you can shoot low. Greens need some TLC but overall it is looking great!

As usual great course. Friendly staff and pace was good. Greens held shots and roll pure.

Short but not as easy as its yardege suggests.
The course was in excellent shape- greens and fairways were pretty lush. 9 hole snack station was open and that was a surprise.
