Terrible greens
Most likely will not return. Greens are BAD. LOOKS like worn carpet.
Greens are TERRIBLE
Greens are absolutely horrible! Ladies tees are only mere feet from mens on nearly every hole, making this a very unwoman friendly course.
Staff were really friendly however.
Most likely will not return.
Great layout. Greens going thru renovations on first few holes
This course is very funny to play. Going thru TLC for the greens for next year. No doubt this course will be fun to play as soon as greens are finished. Great sunny course to play on warm winter
Sunny days.
Fun round. Value for the money.
Course is not long. Requires moving the ball both directions. Challenging par 3s. It's a fun course and you can work on every part of your game. Greens are being repaired and on the Saturday we played they did not mow. It made putting inconsistent. First time back at this course in the last five years. I will be back sooner than that.
Good test of skills for the money.
This is a basic public course in average condition. Most of the greens are in decent condition but they lost a few this summer and they are rebuilding a few. For the money this is a great scramble course. Most of the holes are straight forward and two decent shots will net a good score. Great pace of play on our day of play. On course range for warm-up. Fun day; good value.
Great Value!
I was visiting from Minnesota as I do about twice a year. A few holes had rough greens but the others were plush and in great shape. Fairways were dry but understandable for this time of year. Jim, the owner, is a great guy and I felt very welcome. Only $20 for 18 holes with a cart is a real bargain.
It was a good deal
The greens were the only issue. Some were very long but merciful; others were balding like a good case of the mange. Other than that, I enjoyed myself.
Decent value for the money
Some of the holes are actually pretty good, However, they’ve completely lost 3 or 4 greens. But you can play in 2.5 hours, if not faster. A good way to just get out and hit some shots.
It’s a $20 course
You get what you pay for. You’ll play fast but a third of the greens aren’t playable.
Bad greens.
Multiple greens that looked like beaches. If there wasn’t sand, they were extremely soft and slow.
Best deal in area
Read some of these reviews on here and doesn’t make sense to our group that played today. Sure there are 4 greens that have been aerated and worked on but you can tell they’re getting close to being right. I’d rather play these 3 instead of temps. Birdied 1 of em. Took some pics also so other golfers can see other places on course. Absolutely an enjoyable round.
Old Feel
Great old public course
3 green have been aerated and sanded
The reviews from some of these people are crazy
It’s a public course under $30 during week and $30 on weekends
It’s not a luxury resort
It’s one of my favs to play in area
Twin Oaks
After booking online I was skeptical of the conditions after looking at some reviews going back and forth. Not after playing tho. There were 3 greens being aerated and they let me know in pro shop.
Don’t understand some of reviews as they seemed over the top. Been playing golf 35 years and if you understand the game you understand.
