Relaxed round with my son.
A beautiful day for golf, a moderately challenging course in excellent condition. Greens not completely healed from punching but still putted amazingly well. Really enjoyed my round.
mixtur of sand bunlers, water, and tree lined fairways and green. local knowledge is aplus. 2 and 3 tier greens are difficult,
the price we paid was great, even though they had been punched one week before we played.(no mention on golfnow's tee time listings) Fairways were Bermuda and absolutely great. sand in the traps was perfect texture. We didn't hit drivers on certain holes, and later realized we could of. I will definetly play this course again.
Good design with challenging holes and interesting pin positions.
Course was in good shape but the greens had been aerified day before. However, greens rolled great. Good job sanding the green. Had a great time and will definitely play again.
Greens were awesome!
The course was in very good shape. Fairways mowed and the greens rolled very true. Better keep it in the fairway because the first cut of rough seems to eat the ball.
Loved it and I will return.
use about every club in the bag
most of the fairways are pretty wide. It's all about approach shots and leaving your ball below the hole if possible. Love playing here...
Wonderful Course
Brushy Mountain Golf Club was a welcomed change from the courses I usually play. The greens are very challenging, and missing the fairway is a definite no-no. The only thing I did not like about this course was that the first-cut rough was a little too high. Several times I could not find my ball when I saw it drop just beside the fairway.
This course is in very good condition.
Great shape, good greens and rough can be penalizing.
Very nice golf course at a really good price.
Started out with a bit of rain, but that quickly cleared. T=Our group found the course in excellent playing condition. We also came to the conclusion that the course may be of modest length, but it actually seems to play longer than it is. There is no fancy eatery associated with the course, and the snack bar closes at 2:00, so don't plan to have a meal after you play. All in all, the golf at Brushy Mountain is great, and a super value at Golf Now rates. I'll definitely play there again.
Good course with sloping greens. Fringe needs some major attention around the greens.
Good course with sloping greens. Fringe needs some major attention around the greens. Greens ran very smooth and were in great shape. Fairways were pretty top shape, but the tee boxes also could use some work. Great value for the money, but I like other courses in the area better.
Would play again anytime!!
Well maintained, fairways were excellent, greens were Great! Very nice staff and grounds people!
Well maintained
Great value. Course was in great shape. Well worth the money. Disappointed that the course did not have any eating or drink options other than machines.
Great price for a great course
For the price this has got to be one of the better courses to play in the area. A little over an hour away from Charlotte but well worth it. Beautiful course!
Excellent value for price
You won't get a better value for the hot deal on Golfnow. $15 for this place is outstanding! It took a lot longer to play because of the other 3 I was paired with...but the greens were great, like putting on glass. Fairway was well maintained. The only negative is the distance. You need to move up a tee box than normal because of the distance on every hole.
Well worth the money.
Our group was treated to a very friendly & knowledgeable staff. There was a nice grill for drinks and sandwiches. The golf course itself was in excellent condition. Nice tee boxes; beautiful fairways,
well-groomed bunkers; and super-fast & smooth greens. A bonus was the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We found this course provided challenges (fair ones) for golfers of all abilities.
nice course
This was my first chance to play Brushy Mountain. Not knowing the course at all I played by myself made it a little bit difficult to what distance and what club to hit off the tees. I mostly hit a long iron to end up in the fairway which ended up up being the right play. the course is in great shape, greens rolled very good.
Deceptively long.
Don't let the 6500yrds fool you into a false sense of ease. This course will challenge the best with doglegs and elevation change.
The greens were super fast and required concentration on every putt.
You will love the setting of this course and the character is outstanding.

Beautiful fairways-great greens
Great Golf!
Enjoyed the course and the beautiful views of the nearby mountains. The fairways were in great shape.
Beautiful layout that offers a great test of your game. The tall pine trees through out the course make me think of Agusta National
The one thing about Brushy Mt. is when ever the name comes up in conversation with my friends or anyone that has played there before it is always positive. I had a wonderful day there even though my game was not firing on all cylinders. Beautiful layout with great greens. The greens have plenty of slope and roll fast and true. I am always impressed with the staff in the pro shop and the sandwich shop. Their service was top of the line and friendly.
Golfing behind fivesomes
A great course is diminished by taking 5 hours to play because half of the groups are 5somes. I have never seen 5 at a time sent out by a starter when the course is busy. There were 5somes everywhere....Conditions are excellent..
Tough pin locations and greens were quick.
Had great weather for January. The course was in good playing condition for this time of year. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day.
