Course conditions
This course was in pretty good condition. Back 9 seems to be in better than the front. Would recommend to play and enjoy. Only problem was a tournament on that we didn’t know about so it was a bit slow. Well worth what we paid for on Golf Now.
Tarheelzzz
Me and my son "JR" enjoy this course. Easy to play.
Wedgewood
Starter Billy and Pro Brady were super nice to my son and I ...it was professionalism and down right good hospitality at it's best !!!

It was fun. However, it was over booked! I would love to see tee times 15 minutes apart.
Extremely Poor customer service
Made a tee time for today. Really looking forward to it. Drove an hour to get there. Upon arrival it appeared they had a tournament ongoing. The pro shop said I couldn’t play and that they were sorry but GolfNow shouldn’t have allowed me to make a tee time. When I asked about a refund they said it wasn’t their responsibility to handle it that I needed to contact GolfNow.
Here’s how to handle this better: “Wow, we REALLY messed up. We feel horrible that you drove an hour to come here. A, you can play in this tournament, or A’ we can’t let you play today but for wasting your time here’s your refund in cash and a round of golf on us to give us a try again. Additionally let me call Willow Springs for you to see if we can get you on. today and I’ll ask that they give you a discount. Our sincerest apologies.
Dog Leg Heaven & Quirky Design
I played Wedgewood for the first time, got a good rate on Tee Off. Hard to rate the course conditions, because it is late in the year. It appears that the entire course is over seeded for the winter. That gives the course a nicer look, but a lot slower with the fairway grass really long. The greens are also extremely slow.
What I'd like to comment on is the pace of play and the course layout. Be careful if you play as a single. There are a lot of member foursomes you get stuck behind (they will not let singles through) and single members that just walk on and jump all over the course because of this. This makes it extremely frustrating. Local I talked to said this is the best conditioned course in the area for the price, so a lot of golfers play here.
The course layout is really weird. There are at least 10 dog leg holes, I'm talking sharp 90 degrees. Plus there are a handful of quirky holes. There are also 2 par 3's partially over water, but don't look natural to the course design, almost forced, where the first one you hit from a small strip of peninsula (like an airplane runway) with the pond to the right of it.
All in all I'm glad I played here, but not excited to go back anytime soon, being an hour away, perhaps in season to see if the course plays differently, but would be afraid to because of the pace of play.
Good value
Nice public course. Overall good condition and fair course for all level golfers. Quite a few dog legs and a few blind shots.
Great Course for the Money
Course was in great shape.Friendly staff and members. Make sure you hit the putting green before you tee off!
Much Improved course!!!!
Been playing this course for many years. Much improved course care. THANKS!!!
