Great practice area, Nice course layout
This was my first time here and overall it was a very nice place and I'll definitely be back. The practice areas were great...well-maintained driving range, two practice greens and chipping green with bunkers. The course layout enjoyable. The only downside was that the greens were getting a little beat up.
Beautiful layout, but greens need some attention
Loved the layout of the course. It was really fun to play and utilized the lands topography extremely well. The course was in great condition other than the greens, but it wasn't the clubs fault. No one seems to fix their ball marks and fail to pick up there feet. The grass on the greens was great, but people are not respecting them and tearing them up. COME ON PEOPLE, FIX YOUR MARKS AND DON"T DRAG/TWIST YOUR FEET!
Fun to play
Challenging but fair layout. Very fun to play. Highly recommended.
Course has good features.
Staff was very accommodating. Nice layout. Grass is well maintained with exception of tee boxes. Greens are slow but consistent. Very large amount of unrepaired divots on the greens.
Course is a wonderful hilly layout.
Greens and fairways were in great shape. Well maintained. Plenty of challenging shots. Nice practice facilities. Will most certainly return. Fridays are a little crowded. Cart paths only on the day I played due to heavy rain the night before.
Great greens, quick play
The course is a great setup with challenge, but not overly slow. We played hybrid tees to get to about 6100 yards. Fairways were fuzzy and tee boxes were "well used," but it had to be hard to find any time to mow or manicure with three staight weeks of rain. Greens were smooth and true however. Please though... players take your time to repair your ball mark and one or two around you. There were plenty to go around! good course.
As of June 29th 2013 the greens here are extremely soft and in great shape
This is a good course to play and each time I have played it, it has been in good shape and the greens have been extremely soft. Beware though if you have bad knees or a bad back. This is a very hilly course but beautiful as well. Several of the fairways are very slanted which means even from the fairway you could be hitting from uneven ground. Not a lot of water but some. Several areas of tall grass for the rough. If you hit your ball into one of these areas you might as well take a drop because you could be looking all day for your ball. All in all this is a nice challenging course that is well maintained and will test every aspect of your game.
Great course, slow pace of play on weekends
The course was well laid out with some challenging holes but not overly so. The course was nice and wide open on the front 9 and tightens up a bit on the back. The staff was friendly but my one complaint was the pace of play. The course does not have a ranger and one slow 4some ahead slows the whole course down for everyone. Its very busy in the mornings on Saturday but the crowd thins out after 1 or so.
Nice course in really good shape
Nice course! Highly recommend! Short but has more than enough hazards and super dense spots of grass to make it challenging...premium on shot placement...
Good course, great price

Scenic course
Course was in nice condition with very good greens. Some tees was a little thin with grass but looked like they were working on them. Course not overly long.
This an excellant course.
There was a mix up with our tee time when we arrived, but the pro was very up front and honest with the issue. He also discounted our rate and gave us some range balls to make up. Staff was polite and the course was well maintained. The greens were in very good shape. I'll definately play there again.
Don't play! Staff is not very nice and are un-kid friendly
I went to Olde Homeplace today with my father and my 4 year old daughter. We play a ton of golf all over, and ran into something I have not encountered ever. Usually, we take two carts, because it's not too easy to ride with a 4 yr old. The staff were unwavering in the fact that we had to pay an additional $10 for the extra cart. There were plenty of carts, and we were teeing off after 2 pm! I can under stand not letting two adults get different carts just for pace of play's sake, but to be that un-kid friendly. I should have went down the road to meadowlands or to holly ridge (best value for the quality anywhere). Same conditions, but a much nicer (and thoughtful) staff.
Fun course to play.
The greens were great, the fairways needed a little attention but it is the end of the season and very understandable. I am a female and thought the red tees were fun. Made my score look good. There was still enough interesting holes to make it a challenge.
