The first: Par-4, 407. Hitting from a high tee, you should enjoy this view before the day’s opening drive over the Ammonoosuc River. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/18/2021
-
Six: par-5, 523: The first-rate par-five plays straightaway, but be aware of the angular fashion by which its bunkers are configured. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/18/2021

Eleventh: par-5, 542. A dandy of a par-five. The vintage hotel adds to a pleasant backdrop. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/18/2021

The thirteenth, a par-4 of 411. Maybe the most sophisticated hole on the course, it puts up strong scoring resistance. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/18/2021

14: Merely a 242-yard, stupendous par-three to a reverse-Redan, wildly sloping green--preceded by a modest strip of fairway. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/18/2021

18: Playing over the river, this 434-yard closer features a huge greenside bunker, nearly invisible from this view. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/18/2021

Great Golf
This is a links course designed by Donald Ross adjacent to the historic Mount Washington Hotel. The fairways are wide open and the greens are fantastic. The fairway bunkers are not a problem unless your a long ball driver off the Tee. The greens however are protected by bunkers. The 18th hole finishes at the clubhouse for all to see. I recommend beverages at the hotel deck for a great view of Mt Washington and the Cog RR. Can't wait to play the course again.
Omni Mt. Washington Course
We are new to the game of golf this being our first full season. Of the limited courses played we found Mt. Washington the most beautiful course we've played. The course was in excellent condition and the views awesome. I couldn't say more about the courtesy of the staff. Very courteous, very helpful!
We strongly recommend this course!
Beautiful scenery and lovely layout.
Loved this course. Went out at 2:00 and finished the round in. 4 hours 20 minutes. Beautiful scenery surrounded by the mountains. Fast greens and lots of different layouts on holes. Enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. Great price from Golf Now.
unparalleled views
No spot on earth can give you golf with mountain views like this course has! The greens are perfectly manicured with primary fringe short enough to putt from. With par 4 holes under 300yds. Lots of iron shots to the greens it plays from the whites like an Executive course. Expensive but worth playing once...!
Mt. Washington Golf
Both courses are worth the trip to the White Mountains and the constant presence of Mt Washington. There are a number of other courses w/ in a 30 minute drive making an over night trip a good option.
Great resort course.
The Mt Washington course was a joy to play. Four tee boxes gives a challenge to any golfer. Fairways are very nice and the rough is tall and thick. Don't bother looking for your ball. Greens are not real fast but a little undulation makes them challenging. Although this course is in the mountains, it is a fairly flat course cut out of the surrounding forest.
white mt. Gem
Great course played it twice. Without coupons or online booking pricey. Food & drinks also pricey.
Beautiful views
Fairways are rather thin & patchy in a lot of spots The greens are very slow but to be expected at a resort course. It was a long winter and it has taken its toll on the course. Absolutely beautiful scenery!!! Overall still worth the $60-$80 depending on when you play.
Amazing course; stunning scenery!
My husband, my 14 year old daughter, and myself played at Mr. Washington for the first time (actually my husband played once about 13 years ago) with an online Golfnow special. We saved 77% and it ended up being less expensive than playing at our home course! It would have been worth the full price. It was absolutely stunning, Donald Ross designed course. The views of the mountains and the iconic Mt. Washington Hotel on a warm August day with just a gentle breeze and an occasional cloud to add dimension to the otherwise perfectly blue sky were nothing short of spectacular. The course is challenging, but plays as it should (my husband loved the idea that he "got to use every club in my bag") with a rigorous front nine, followed by a back nine that allows you to slow down a bit and catch your breath, feeling like you ended your round with a little gas left in the tank. The carts were in great shape and had plenty of power to navigate the sometimes bumpy mountain terrain, but there were no unmanageable or unwelcome obstacles that left you feeling defeated or exceedingly frustrated.
Unbelievable
I have played a fair share of nice courses in RI and MA but this is by far the best course i have ever played. Great value and fun Donald Ross setup
Great course
Pace of play under 4 hours. Long course great staff
The Omni Mt Washington
It was a beautiful sunny day in the "Valley" with a brisk wind from the west. It was my first time playing here and Golfnow.com, as always, had a great price I couldn't turn down and I was paired with a couple that had excellent local knowledge of the course. The staff was exceptional and eventually the course will get to that level. It's been raining a lot in NH and the course was a bit spongy but very playable and the greens were rolling to 5 - 6 on the Stint. I will definitely come back later in the summer when course conditions improve and I highly recommend.
Great layout...
Great design with lots of character. Unfortunately winter wasn't kind and there was lots of dead areas on the greens and in the fairways. Could tell they were working on repairing it as they were all sanded and seeded, but still puttable, but quite slow. All in all you can tell that by mid summer they'll have it in great shape. Would still recommend you play it as it's a fantastic facility and you can't beat the view. The value of playing after 4pm is fantastic. :) The attached photo is my approach shot into par 3 5th hole - gives you an idea of the condition of the greens and the fantastic scenery. Play this course! :)
Ross and Silva combine a smashing drive at Mt. Washington
As if the history of this course were not enough to want to play this facility again, the experience was fabulous. If you have the opportunity to play here I highly recommend all 27 holes.
But before you do, look up the history of this Donald Ross design (mt. Washington 18). Brian Silva restored it in a very interesting discovery.
The celebrities and famous politicians who have played here makes you feel like part of our great heritage. But it's the location and vista views, the Grand Hotel, conditions, staff and fun that will keep you going back! Thank you Golf staff at the Mt Washington for another great experience.

great greens
Course needs maintenence. Greens are fast and ungulated. Scenery is great
A course in need of TLC
The layout was interesting and the views, especially with the Fall Foliage, were spectacular, but I was very disappointed in the Troon Golf management of this course. I have played many of their courses that have been in great shape but this is not one of them. The tees were thin, fairways scruffy, and the greens erratic. Many of the women's tees seemed to be an afterthought. The course looked and felt "beat up" and was very disappointing. The traps were basically unplayable. We had the golf package with the Mt. Washington Resort and considering the condition of the course we felt we paid way too much.
Mt Washington golf
Very nice resort course. Views are outstanding. Course was in fair condition but greens were good but slow. I would recommend this course to anyone
Dennis
Spectacular. Can not remember when I have had a better day of golf and I play a lot. The course, views and staff were all excellent.
Rain held off till the end! Fun golf!
We worried that the forecast for rain would prohibit us from playing but the weather cooperated until the 17th hole...everyone was moving quickly and the round was completed in 3 1/2 hours!!!! Fantastic!!
Course is in nice shape and improving each time we play...fun golf with beautiful vistas. One of my favorites in NH!!!!!!
$17 for 18 and a cart
It was 90 degrees on the South Shore of Boston and high 70's up in the mountains. A well respected golf buddy had raved about how great this course is. He is a 5 handicap and plays all over the world. He thinks the course is the best in the Northeast. I don't agree.
I can not comment on the range or practice facility because of traffic on 93 north in NH, it took 4 hours instead of 3. I walked onto the tee box and swung cold.
The course is visually stimulating because you are in a valley surrounded by Mountains on all sides. . It is hard not to be overwhelmed by how pretty it is with the trees and flowers. The spruces between holes smelled like Christmas.
I found 4 major issues with the course.
1. Unless you have played the course before you have no idea where the landing areas are on your drives. Bunkers are are all you see. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to pull driver or 3 metal or iron. I don't like course that run just straight back and forth which this doesn't but you need some type of guidance on a lot of holes. I ended up playing with someone after three holes who had played a couple days before. He tried to share some wisdom.
2. The tee boxes could use some help
3. Most greens have a disease. In some cases it just became dirt. Your ball did not run true with lots of hops and skips going to the hole.
4. The fairways are in good shape by the area before are pretty beat up.
The cart person was very friendly.
For $17 it's the best value I have ever played. If I had paid the normal weekday rate of $89 I would have been disappointed .
