Great Value, Great Walking Track!
This course was a lot of fun. It's one of three true18 hole tracks. It is part of the Minot park, which is awesome because it brings sights and sounds of nature to the course. Number two is definitely a tough hole if you find yourself out of position. I'm used to walking Northern California so this was a breeze. COVID has definitely lowered the number of golfers on the course, I got around in just under 4 hours. If you are going to walk, I'd recommend carrying. If you have a push cart there are a few holes I'd 'pull' the cart. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The course pro was extremely nice and enthusiastic about growing the game. This course also has Jr. tees, which is a huge plus being able to bring my boys out with me! My HD pictures are too big, they're located on insta @guardian1068
Skip at all costs
I wish I could review the course on the grounds only, because it's actually decent, however the staff, ranger and director may be the worst people I've ever dealt with. They are extremely rude, incompetent and clueless, it's sad, I recommend that people coming to minot to golf, skip this track at all costs.....it will ruin your weekend
Nice place to play
The staff were excellent. They told us of other places to try and are very proud of their course.
There are some very tricky holes and a lot of yardages that were deceptive to the eye. The greens were in great condition and rolled very true. Found them to be a good speed. Some holes could use some TLC around the edges but you should try for the fairways. this could have been from flood damage.
The view off of the 11th tee is outstanding and also off of the 4th Tee looking down river.
Know your game when you play this one and if you aren't sure ride up and check the landing area. We found the course not that busy.
Didn't seem to have a restaurant on site but the burger joint on the scorecard was well worth it. My wife loved it.
Left there feeling let down
I had high expectations for this course as I had researched courses in Minot. This one seemed like the best course for the public to play. Before I even teed off I had interactions with two older staff members that were just plain rude.
The course runs parallel to the other holes and you'll find trees, water, and sand on nearly every hole. The greens are large and sloped. There was standing water nearly everywhere and the fairways were not very good.
This course could definitely use more maintenance and lessons in manners.
