Saint Albans Golf Club
About
Saint Albans Golf Club in Ohio is a public course that provides a casual atmosphere and a relaxing round. It is popular for its affordable rates and excellent conditions. The layout is fair and not overly challenging. It was designed to be player-friendly course with no hidden hazards. The design does take advantage of the landscape's rolling countryside and numerous ponds though. There are five water hazards that come into play on nine holes. Slight undulations make the greens and fairways interesting and there are also many strategically positioned trees coming into play throughout. The golf course's signature hole is the par-4 10th. It is one of the trickier holes, requiring a shot to a large green that is protected by a meandering creek and a tall cottonwood tree.

This course in very good condition
The course was in very good condition the morning we played. The greens were on the fast side and putted very true. Rough was at length that made shots a little tricky but not difficult to make had to swing through shot. Course fun to play.
SLOW play
Course was in nice shape. Fairways needed cut and were being cut as we played. Greens are in decent shape and were a good speed. Fun layout and is a good value for the money. Pace of play was slow. We ended up playing the front side a second time to avoid a 4:45 hr round...on a Monday!
Great value
St Albans has a great layout and price making it a great value. I look forward to playing it more this year. The layout was tricky for my first round here.
I'll be back.
Great course for the price. Staff very friendly. Course is fine condition (eh, some of the greens could've used a little work, but nothing worth complaining about). If this course wasn't as far away as it is from me, I'd definitely play here more often. Nonetheless, I plan to be back.
Always a good play
St Albans is in great shape for this time of year. The greens were reasonably fast. The ruff was a little high as you would expect in the spring.
Overall good time.
Nice Course
This is a nice course for all level of players. The front 9 is more wide open and not as challenging as the back. The course was in very good shape for as early in the year. The course has a couple long holes but also had some short holes to kinda even things out. This was first time playing this course and we will defiantly be back
Good Value and Staff
The course was in good condition after the previous week of rain. Staff is friendly and golf carts are clean. Always look forward to playing there.
Nice Course
Play this course several times a year. Always a great value.
Great course run by a really nice family
This course is top notch. One of the best in Licking County. Always in beautiful condition. The Price family knows how to treat their customers.
a few holes that could be a challenge
weather was great, play was slow so we hooked up with another twosome, had a great time
Pace of play
Six hours + for a round of golf?
Greens rolled well and course was in ok shape just took way too long to play
Good for the price.
A not to long but somewhat tight with several pine trees awaiting the offline shot corse. Greens are good with fair pase. If playing well a good score can be enjoyed.
Easier front 9, fun challenging back 9
Had a nice round out here. The front 9 is wide open and there are a few challenging holes on the back.
Online teetime
Cheaper to book offline. Will call course now on. course itself very senior friendly and in good shape. check out beautiful horses seen on third hole.
Long drives
This course is fun from the back tees. If you are 300+ off the box these long par 5 holes are fun to go after. The course is almost always in good condition. A couple greens tend to have ball marks but overall not bad.
Great Day at a Nice Course.
This course is a nice find in the country side. The fairways and greens were well kept and maintained. The bunkers were actually raked! The pace was great and the staff was frirndly. I will definitely be back!
Played Front Nine Twice
Easy drive from Columbus. No traffic in the morning. Course was in good shape but play was very slow. We played the front 9 twice to avoid a very slow back 9. No foursomes in front of us. Yet, play was still slow.
