Great staff & Pace
Staff very friendly. Course very open, not crowded and we had a blast. The only down side was the course was very dry/hard. Hit the greens with wedge balls were bouncing ten feet in the air. Adjusted to landing short and playing the bounce. Will definitely go again after a couple rains.
Perfecto
Loved this place ben play for awhile.. people friendly
Great Course but Iffy Tee Time Organizing
Great overall course and experience but wasn’t a fan of how they seemed to put profit over having more logical tee time schedules.
I played alone and my tee time was for 1:07 pm but two other singles were also set to tee off at the exact time as me not to mention two separate groups of 5 players each to tee off at 1:10 and 1:15.
I just don’t see the logic of booking 13 diff players to tee off in an 8 minute window. The course overall was clogged up most of the round and certain groups ahead of me were definitely inconsiderate with below average pace of play.
Early spring round
The course was wet, but what course wouldn’t be wet on a morning of rain and snow, got 13 holes in before I started losing more balls than finding. Went back to return the key and get some food, course owner gave me a rain check for 9 holes and a cart. Definitely my new favorite course in the stark/Columbiana area.
So-So
Just not great course maintenance, wide open tee times and still having pace issues..?
Alliance Sleepy Hollow
Friendly staff carts in good working order T boxes and Greens
All in all a well maintained corse
Played for 15 years and never going back
The course used to be decent for the price. Now the prices have gone up with no benefit whatsoever. There is never a starter. People do whatever they want. And my last straw was the tee times. I have had so many problems with booking a tee time or not booking a tee time and running into a line of people with zero type of plan on how to keep pace moving alone decently. The course is always under construction which just doesn't help anything at all. I've played this course since I was 13 and I'm now 30. I play at least twice a week and have spent thousands of dollars over the years at this course. It is sad bc I have spent so much time here but now they will never get another penny from me.
come man
Just looks like they just wanna take your money never seeing anybody else are cutting moan or doing anything course is in terrible shape fairways rough Chi boxes bunkers I wouldn’t recommend playing here
Gone with the Wind
Just played the windiest round of golf ever played at Sleepy Hollow. Tough to play well in heavy winds, but it does make for a pretty good excuse for bad shots. The only thing holding Sleepy Hollow back from being a really nice track is a little bit of effort. For some reason, the management prioritizes burning random stumps instead of filling the divots on the tee boxes. Heck, I’d fill the divots for a buck fitty and a cold Pepsi.
The worst course I have played in a very long time
The course overall is in very poor condition. Tee boxes sparse and not level. Fairways had more weeds than grass. Greens were hard as a rock and had bare spots on a lot of them. It's a shame as I started playing there in the early 70's and taught my kids to play there. My son came up from Florida and we went there for a trip down memory lane and instead it was a nightmare. Save your time and money and play elsewhere or not at all.
Fun round
We enjoyed playing here and hard to beat the value $16 on golfnow! Would definitely play sleepy hollow again.
