Sugar Valley Country Club in Bellbrook is one of the area's most affordable country clubs. Surrounded by idyllic countryside, the golf course offers a serene atmosphere and a beautiful landscape that is ideal for golf. Although the yardage indicates the course as being a seemingly short 6,511 yards, the layout tends to play much longer due to the hilly terrain and narrow fairways lined with mature trees. The greens putt true and fast but they are known for their massive size. There are some that measure in at over 10,000 square feet. Proper placement is the key to this demanding layout. Hitting a strategic spot on the landing areas will require apt club choice off of the tee. Some players have been quoted as saying Sugar Valley C.C. is the "longest short course" they've played.

Played While I Was In Town With A Friend

I'm not generally the type to leave reviews about anything really, but I happened to play here with a friend while I was in town a few weeks ago. I tend to be a little bit critical of golf courses, mostly towards the behaviors of their staff (do they encourage a great experience) towards their patrons. My experience and exchange with the people I dealt with at this course was worth a great review. If I lived anywhere around Dayton and this course was within a reasonable driving distance, I wouldn't consider joining any other course, based on my experience that day. There wasn't a single part about my experience that I would say needed improvement or didn't meet expectations. Thank you for the great experience!

Great Golf Club

Since I have been a member, the golf course and club have been great. Right now the club lacks an official clubhouse but that does not take away from the experience. Overall the course is short with not much water, but poses a challenge with narrow fairways and undulating greens.
