Very Busy Day Yields Decent Play
Some of the holes were rather short and others were way too long. Moving to Senior tees didn't always make sense Need to reconfigure tee boxes so the course makes sense for everyone.
Premature golf thanks to MetroParks greed.
The course was sopping wet. The grass has barely grown. And, we learned upon arrival "cart path only" was in effect. Had we known, we wouldn't have played there. We wanted to avoid another 9 holes behind slow play. so we asked to play Chippewa instead of Furnace Run. We were told the Chippewa 9 was closed. As we finished #9 on Furnace Run we saw that people were playing Chippewa. That was the first time I wished I had been a democrat, so I could have benefited from a little favoritism.
Terrible tees an fairways
Like playing a farm terrible fairways should close the course until it’s fixed. There’s only one women’s restroom for one person at a time. The men working there said it’s been that way for 20 years.
Nice Course
Nice course. Played Baldwin and Chippewa. Greens and fairways both in good condition coming out of winter. No wait time at all. Will definitely be back.
It’s ok!
I played Corse A which is a very basic course. Very little challenges. Average play, average pace not really worth the money I paid for but overall OK could’ve been better. The Baldwin course is definitely better but bookings There are really difficult to get, overall the Seneca courses are pretty good, except for course A.
This course is so cool..3 nines... each very pleasant (even with blowing leaves)
I was able to get my 18 in by switching over to Furnace Run thanks to the suggestion of the starter.. I had a great time again! My 2nd time and I will be back despite the drive from Rocky river.... the people playing on the courses were also very friendly. Just like the staff... friends of mine want to visit now
Absolute Gem
Title says it all. Lush. Green. Taken care of. Tough yet playable. Rewards both shot makers and big hitters. Just a fun yet tough course that’s in amazing shape. Also noticed enough walkers on the undulating fairways to make me feel confident enough to say you can push cart it, even though it’s not flat. Metroparks did it again! Can’t wait to come back. A very happy first timer here!
