club house staff was very friendly. fairways were not country club condition but were well kept and nicely mowed, greens rolled smooth and fairly fast. overall an enjoyable round. also I am 81 years old and senior tees are playable

Great to see whetstone is back. Course in great shape people are great. New owners really care. I would recommend 18 challenging holes to everyone.

Course was dry and hard, but hit it in the fairway you get a lot of roll. Greens rolled pretty true but did not hold that well so needed to land it short and let it roll on to the green. Well worth the Hot Deal special!!

The greens were dry but without rain they were in the best you could expect.

Tons of dead, mowed grass everywhere. Sand traps have not been worked in a long time. Weds growing in them. Most of the greens were in good shape.

This course is advertised as being under new ownership. I had hopes of an improvement from my past experiences at Whetstone, as the course wasn't very well maintained. Needless to say, I shouldn't have had high hopes. The tee boxes, fairways, and rough were all covered in dead dandelions, crab grass, and dead grass clippings from the mowers that seemed to run on every hole while we were playing. The greens were as hard as concrete and wouldn't hold a ball. I'm a fairly good golfer and for a green not to hold for me is saying a lot. If a ball was hit into the rough in the slightest way. It took a good long time to find it under the thick, long rough and dead grass clippings. Trying to find your ball on the fairway wasn't easy either with all the dead dandelions laying everywhere. The bunkers weren't filled with sand and had weeds growing in them. It was like hitting out of a gravel parking lot. Good thing I only paid $12 for a hot deal or I would've asked for my money back. I think the new owners need to hire a superintendent that knows what they're doing.

Played here a lot 20 years ago. Greens fast and firm as always, Fairways were playable, tees were not good at all, bunkers were awful. Dandelions everywhere except greens and fairways, Very disappointed since at one time it was a well kept course. Only upside: 2 1/2 hour round

Fairways were hard, and bare in many places and greens had recently been aerated--bunkers were hardpan---older lady that greeted us was less than congenial--

Course was close by and a good value for the money.

The fairways were dry as a bone which added quite a bit of extra roll. The greens were surprisingly soft and true though. Not a bad round for the money if you're up for the drive.

Green are beautiful. Looks like they are working to improve this course, is they can get the fairways and tee boxes up to the quality of the greens, this will be a great course. Can't beat the value, $14 riding for 18 holes.

Played Whetstone GC on a Saturday, and yet the pace of play was a good clip. Fairways need work and watering, but the greens are very nice. Played blues, and there were more than a few surprising long 4s. Also, well treed -- need to able to hit a fairly straight ball.

Best game of my life so far and for the first two hours we were the only 4 out there this was my perfect day for golf very happy very satisfied. The shots taken are targeted and the scenery is perfect. I love the course and will definitely be back

Greens putt nice. Fairways and tee boxes are average. Aim for the front of the greens because the greens don't hold approach shots very well. Green fees are high for overall condition of the course

This is the second time I played this course since a decade ago. I was impressed with the conditions of the greens, pace of play, and overall value. I recommend this course and will play it again this golf season.

a nice course. a few doglegs along the way makes things interesting. just enough trees where you could get out of trouble. greens were consistant speed, which was nice. overall, an enjoyable day.
