Soggy
I realize it rained the previous night, but the rough clearly hadn't been mowed in quite some time. The prior week had good weather so I don't know why that was the case. After 9 holes I gave up because if you weren't in the fairway there was little chance of finding your ball. I know it's not usually like that but the course was not well kept this time out.
Much improved
I used to dread going to play on this course but heard from a friend they removed a lot of the trees and man did they ever, it's like a whole new course and they widened the fairways... I won't be dreading playing there anymore
Nice shape for time of year
Beautiful day and good golf. Course in very good shape for time of year and the heavy rain the night before.
Fun & Friendly
Enjoyed playing and the course is always in nice shape and very friendly staff.
Got a great deal for 10.00 pp 18 holes with cart
We Played after a week of rain and the course was soaked ..could only stay on cart paths ..the price was great but they haven't been able to cut the fairways since the rain .lnot their fault but we had a good time anyway.
Love Skyland Pines!
Beautiful course, nice tee choices, greens are very friendly and fair and a great location for Canton golfers!
Excellent!
Great course and great price! No one was out there 18 holes in under 4 hours is great! Will go again.
Fun and Simple Course
Staff was very friendly, and the course was in really good shape. Nothing too crazy, and would be a great course to bring a beginner since it was fairly open and greens were pretty easy to putt on.
course was nice
Nice course would recommend to play anytime staff was courteous and pace of play was good
fair but challenging
Hadn't played there in a long time. It was very enjoyable and will play there again this year. I wood give the course an A rating except for the sand traps,
Great round and value
A great course to play! Greens are in perfect condition and can't beat it for the money.
Golf at Skyland Pines
Nice course. Well kept and challanging. Course is nice to play and the people are very friendly. Woods on the left of a couple of holes can provide trouble ut staying to the right on these holes but in the fairway will keep you out of trouble.
Rough
Super fast greens and narrow fairways made for a tough outing.
Greens good, but needs some improvement
The greens were smooth and excellent to putt on. However, they tended to be very firm and didn't hold approach shots well. The rough was very high and unkept. Most of the sand traps were not raked and some had little sand.
Nice Course but a little overpriced
Greens were in great condition but needed to be watered. They played extremely fast. Roughs need to be cut.
Good value for a nice local course.
The course was very wet do to extensive rain. Not the courses fault. Still played out good and the greens still rolled true. Rough felt like I was at the U.S. Open. Lol
Skyland Pines
The course was pretty soggy and the grass between fairways should've been cut down a bit. We both lost around 6 balls apiece on balls outside of the fairway (most of them not on greatly mishit shots) due to plugging and high grass where you really couldn't see the ball unless you were right on tip of it.
The course was in overall good shape. The greens were in nice shape and consistent to putt on.
