Pickaway Country Club
About
Pickaway Country Club is known for its welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Jack Kidwell, a local architect who designed this course and many others in Central Ohio, utilized his familiarity with the terrain but still kept each golf course distinct. Pickaway has an interesting layout that will test your shot-making abilities and strategy with narrow fairways lined with trees and small, fast greens that are difficult to read. Water hazards come into play on five holes and there are nearly 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is one particularly difficult par-5 hole that requires a 250-yard drive over a meandering creek. Although the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges, they are balanced by a number of wide-open fairways that have ample space.

Nice Course
Course is challenging but fair, lots of trees. Decent condition but a little disappointing for being billed as a country club. But overall a nice track.
Pickaway
Fairway grass needed to be a little closer. Similarly for the rough.
1st time out this Year
Awesome Day for golf. Unfortunately everyone else thought that too. Met some great people. Course was as good as expected, being it was so early in the season. I will play here again
Decent round
Kinda hard to get around without knowing layout but decent course.
Course with a view
Course with a view, Greg Course tea boxes in greens well manicured fairways.
Will Be Back
Nicely maintained course, greens were in great shape and very forgiving.
Deferred maintenance
I have pretty low expectations when it comes to “winter golf,” but even during the big of summer tees are bare and unlevel, traps are packed and unplayable, and fairways are chewed up in far too many places. The tees are the most egregious part. It’s a hunt to find grass and a level place to tee. It’s a fun layout though, and it could be a great course with some TLC and investment.
Not the best, not the worst.
It's what I expected for $23 for 18. It's not the worst course I've ever played but it's definitely not the best. Tee boxes were very bad. Cart paths are terrible. Sand traps were surprisingly very well maintained.
Great course, great price!
Great place to play, usually play heat once a week if not more. Prices are great for the quality and service! People and staff are friendly course is laid back and well kept! Would recommend this course to anyone
Great Course
Beautiful course with a cool layout and challenging greens. Had a great time and will definitely be back.
Nice
Course is in pretty good shape. Greens aren't as fast as they have been in the past, but are recovered nicely from a couple years ago-they must have shot the old greens keeper!!! Has some short holes and a few a little longer, but you better have some accuracy or you'll be punching out from the trees a lot. The rough has a lot of clover which hides golf balls, so make sure you have a good line on your ball.
first time playing this course, it is rather short and very tight, tree lined fairways, quite a few layup shotss needed off tee, and course does get confusing from some holes to next. greens in great shape for public course, receptive, yet fairly fast. rough was a little high, but we have had heavy rains recently. all and all very nice public course
