Dorlon has good length. However tee boxes and greens need maintenance.
I've always like Dorlon because of the length. I was mildy surprised by the condition of the tee boxes and greens. The rough was a little longer than normal as well.
Poor Conditions
The Course was in poor condition from the weather from previous days. Also, there is no cart path near any of the holes so the cart tears up the fairway.
Great course for beginners who want to play a nice course that's not so challenging
The staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived and got us out and playing and we were able to move along at a swift place for the 3 of us. Course is in nice shape and its in a great setting
Every green had Movement
It was cold outside went with a friend and my sons and really had a great time. Not easy at all challenges thru-out course.Putting greens were faster then most we have played and really had movement. Great time and value for all loved it
Good layout. Greens need to be cut but we gave it a pass because it was so early in the season.
Overall a good layout. The back nine has better greens but course condition on the back needs improvement. Always a good value especially if golfers tee off around lunch hour.
Great price- but course is a cow pasture
Its hard to complain about a round of golf that costs $9 but honestly that is probably all that this course is worth. It has potential and even an interesting layout they just do NO maintenance whatsoever.
TERRIBLE COURSE CONDITION
i have played this course 3 times in the 2012 year all because i thought i was getting golf now deals to good to be true every time i play this course my time was terrible. 1st time grass as long as my front yard grass in fairways. weeds a foot high everywhere looks like they hadnt cut in a week. 2nd time so mismanaged that they didnt even have a cart for my tee time and it was pushed back 45 minutes wow the owner gave me a beer for my troubles how about a whole case. 3rd time again terrible course conditions this could be a great course if they took care of it and put some money into maintenance. A good plan would be for them to drop a couple million into the course and charge a normal price most people would much rather play a nicer course for a little more money!!
The course is well maintained.
It's a good value course for the money. several hoes are very challenging.
Always a great deal
Course can play very long, but thats why I like it. You can make alot of birdies but if you spray the ball more bogeys will be coming your way. Every sort of shot imagineable here. You need every club in your bag and some you don't have.
Family run fun
This course reminds me of the courses of my childhood. Family run friendly places, before corporate America decided that every golf course built should be like a country club and priced like it also. Nothing fancy, nice layout, mostly open, a more vigorous weed and fertilization program would definitely improve things but for the price a great place to play
