Located just south of Dayton amongst rolling hills, The Dales Course at the Community Golf Center facility is one of two regulation length courses that the facility offers. The Dales Course is referred to as the inside course, while the other course, the Hills Course, is called the outside course. Although the two courses are similar, the Dales Course is shorter and more suitable for less skilled players, but there are still interesting challenges nevertheless. Due to the bounty of mature trees, the fairways are relatively narrow. The terrain is rolling and water hazards come into play on a few holes.

this course had good pin location

I like this course cause it has good mix of hills and flat holes. A little bit of water. The par 3s are a little difficult but fun .

Fun

This course was short, but still a fun time. It was wet and windy but still managed to have a good time.

B- overall... nice course... compact.. well kept... nothing special

Compact course close to downtown Dayton. Well maintained and friendly staff. There are actually two courses intermingled here... the "Hills" and the "Dales" courses. The Hills course comprises the "outer holes" and is hillier than the Dales course, which is the "inner holes". Trees dot the course. You can see all the most of the holes and other golfers from any given hole. I played in early Spring and the course was in excellent condition. Tends to be busy due to convenient location. It is a city of Dayton municipal course and, in my opinion, priced a bit high. This is typical of all the muni courses in the area. I play these courses when I can get a "deal" so as to make the value better.

Getting better with the rains and sun

Tees are still a little beat up but fairways and greens are looking good.

Great Value and easy process

The course was in great shape for this early in the season and you can't beat the price. The whole process of booking the tee time to checking in at the course was smooth and easy. Looking forward to booking again.

Fantastic for beginners

This course is great for the beginner. This is where I take my wife to teach her how to play. Weekends are a bit crowded and people out there expect to play super fast, but they have to realize that it's a muni course and that people are out there learning. So during the week is the best time to play.

The pro shop was recently re-done and it used to be pretty laid back, now it's a little bit more strict but still a good value.

Great course for a senior couple.

I can hit from the blues and my wife hits from the forward tees. This way we each have a competitive game.
