Dales at Community Golf Course
About
Located just south of Dayton amongst rolling hills, The Dales Course at the Community Golf Center facility is one of two regulation length courses that the facility offers. The Dales Course is referred to as the inside course, while the other course, the Hills Course, is called the outside course. Although the two courses are similar, the Dales Course is shorter and more suitable for less skilled players, but there are still interesting challenges nevertheless. Due to the bounty of mature trees, the fairways are relatively narrow. The terrain is rolling and water hazards come into play on a few holes.

Lots of good and bad
Course has some very cool holes. 18th hole teeing off from on top of the hill is a great way to end a round. Some holes are a bit crowded in with the other course and other holes. At some point you'll most likely be hitting from the fairway of a hole you're not playing. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Most sand traps were unplayable. With how on top of each other a lot of the holes are this might not be the best course if you're easily distracted while teeing off or putting. You're usually within earshot of multiple tee boxes and greens. The worst thing about this course is the staff. Every person I dealt with was extremely rude, especially a young blonde lady who was working the front desk. I'd play this course again just because it's a cool layout to shoot some really low scores while still interesting and fun. If I had to deal with the staff here more than the first few minutes of the day I would definitely not be back.
Good for the Price
This course is old and in need of a major make over. However the money it would take to do that probably not going to happen. The greens are pretty hard and don’t hold well. The fairways were well maintained and very playable. Keeping in mind I’m playing in November the conditions were pretty good. Since it was a cold morning I was the only player out so no delays lol! It has some challenge and games within games you can play.
High volume of players of the 2 courses
Well staffed and efficient . Pro shop is well stocked with qulaity merchandise
SNAILS pace of play!!
A beautiful day of golf ruined by over booking. They sent us off behind league and it took over two and a half hours to play nine holes! Thank goodness they only played nine!
Good short course
Course was in ok shape but weather has been hot and dry. The bunkers are the worst ever, either filled with water or packed mud. Either add sand or make them grass bunkers. Paved cart path is dangerous in some areas so we just drove on the grass. Still worth the money, hope they do some improvement next year.
Dan man
Wonderful little course challenging for the average Golfer. Tricky greens some trouble finding the direction of the next-door

Whether you're a seasoned vet or just beginning the wonderful game of golf, Community is the course for you! Great options with either playing the Hills or Dale's course giving you a variety of technical to moderate layout options. Nothing to difficult to navigate while keeping the integrity of the game intact by challenge you with pristine greens. A wonderful inviting staff and great grounds crew keeps this course flowing with ease.
Hills Golf Course at Community is in Excellent Condition
Had a good golf round because no delay and course in decent condition.
Weather was awesome and I'll be playing again in a tournament Monday.
The course was very nice for the money spent. I have no complaints and would definitely play here again in the future. The pro shop is well stocked and nicely laid out for those who want to purchase some golf related items. The staff at the pro shop were great
