Love the layout
Eagle rock is very challenging. Probably because I played in October the course was not in great shape. Fairways were patchy. Greens were bumpy and slow. Normally course is in much better condition but it was late October so....
ERGC
Both the tee boxes and fairways were "chopped up" with divots and burned out spots. The greens were slow as they didn't looked mowed recently. The #10 tee wasn't open from the back (looked like new sod but already burned out) and moved up from it's original spot. The putting green had an orange plastic fence around it and the surrounding area had foot tall weeds next to the putting green. Being a public course it probably gets a lot of play but the grounds keeping crew just mow. There were tall weeds next to all of the creeks. If I owned this course I would be embarrassed!
Good course, lots of expansion going on !
Local course is still fun and challenging! Greens in very good shape, but patrons need to take care of their pitch marks. Wonderful layout with decent elevation fun ! Course amenities and food offerings are amazing and with the addition of seems to be a new proshop building, lookin forwards to whats next !!
Fun course with great after golf amenities
The course itself was very well maintained and fun to play. Only issue was a few of the holes were right next to a driving range so there were range balls in the immediate rough and even on the fairways of those holes. The amenities after playing golf are amazing with several on-site restaurants and even a brewery with amazing beers.
Good day on the course
Front nine is a good warm up. Back nine was really fun and challenging. Nice course and very friendly staff. Will definitely play again.
Very good new course and very much worth the drive.
Very good layout, excellent greens, a coupe blind or trick shots. Doesn't really have a new course feel, looks and veels very mature. Fastest greens I've seen in a public course this year.
The course is short, hilly and has some nice features.
The course has holes ranging in difficulty from easy (90-yd Par 3) to extremely tough. The fairways were watered, narrow and soft; most are tree-lined and bunkered and several have water in play. There are multiple blind shots and the rough was thick and lush in most areas. The greens were fast, maybe 10-11, all are bunkered and several are small with steep slopes.
The pin positions on a few holes were questionable when we played, i.e. U.S. Open pin locations; if you were above the hole and missed the put or had to chip, it was off the green or you had a 15-footer coming back.
The course is very picturesque; situated in rolling hills with ponds, creeks and woods throughout. I used a driver on 3 holes. The course requires accurate tee-shots and local knowledge to score. But, I would recommend playing it. If you have the right attitude, it can be a lot of fun and challenge your skills.
Tricky little course
Tricky little course. Didn't have a straight putt that was over 10 feet. Unfortunately rain shortened our round to 9 holes. But this was a great time. Look forward to going back and playing all 18. Staff was super friendly. Young man behind the counter played for Tiffin College. Up until last year this course was private. We were told the back nine is very different. Look forward to finding out for ourselves.
The course is picturesque
Very challenging and beautiful course and well worth the golf now rate.
