This a great course
Awesome staff and course. Great place to play the course is in excellent shape I would say best in tri-state for the money and again I would just say awesome
GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY
The course was generally in very good shape, though the bunkers could use some work. The greens were beat up some, but overall the putts rolled well. Just make sure to keep your approach shots to the green below the hole. I enjoyed the layout to the course and joined up with a couple of gentlemen who play here regularly. Very good value for the round via golfnow.com. The course from the back tees is only around 6700 yards. The challenge is to keep the tee shots in the fairway and avoid the trees.
Great Day
Played 18, then another nine, all total, a little more than five hours for all 27. Course well maintained, forgiving off tee off most holes.

The course is in good shape. The greens are excellent and the fairways are good. Our golf cart was in need of some repair to the brakes but otherwise good. A definite course to play when in the area.
challenging to course management skills
totally enjoyed the round. undulating greens were challenging to any putter, shot management crucial to score well. Nice little booklet at clubhouse detailed each hole with suggestions for play. will play again soon.
Slick greens
Course in great shape considering the dry weather. Greens would hold and putted fast. Tee boxes were in good shape.

Great long course
If you are a average golfer, the white tees are all you want to play here. Very challenging greens but a lot of fun to try and figure out, need to be below the hole each time.

Great course layout with receptive greens. Greens run true and can be deceptively quick. Fairways are in great condition. Errant shots are seldom rewarded. A fun course to play. Hope you get a chance to enjoy it as well

Course in great condition! Pin placements were a real booger and challenging!
Best course
This is my second time playing this course. My first time was the last day of the US OPEN. They placed the pins in difficult positions, and double cut the green. Had a great time. The greens and the fairways are in great condition.
Great Shape
Course in extremely good condition. Pin placement relatively tough. Deep rough with native grasses and weeds.

Shawnee State Park
Always enjoy playing this course. Course was in great shape, weather was perfect. We were a 2some playing behind a 4some and played front 9 in 2 hrs. They let us go through and completed our round in 3.5 hrs. Delightful day
