Gahanna Municipal Golf Course
About
Gahanna Municipal Golf Course is a nine-hole regulation course designed by local designer Jack Kidwell, a name that many of Ohio's courses are attributed to. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it offers a fair amount of challenges that make it appealing to more advanced players looking for a casual round or players that are a bit rusty and looking for some good practice. Thanks to the golf course's mostly flat terrain, it is easy to walk. Overall, the course is very player friendly but it is also a great opportunity to fine-tune your skills with several water hazards coming into play as well as a few strategically positioned bunkers. While it may not be the most challenging, the affordability and easy accessibility makes Gahanna Municipal Golf Course an excellent value.

Don't be surprised if you like it more than you thought
Take a look at this on the map, and you’ll think it’s a nine-hole pushover. And, if you hit the ball far and straight, it should be.
But . . . there are several water hazards on the course that will frustrate you and thick woods to the left of three holes, trees all through the course. Now, here’s a secret, it’s on the flood plain of the Big Walnut Creek, so after a big rain it could be a little soggy. The best part of the course is the sculpted greens, not the flat ones you see on so many budget courses.
This will never hold a US Open qualifier, but for the golfer who shoots in the eighties or nineties, it’s a great little course.
This course and staff is terrible
the course is not so bad now that gahhanna took over but still bad because it is always wet because its next to the creek. The creek is creek side property and the owners are yelling at the kids to get out of the creek because they them self's want to golf not take care of people its outrageous would never recommend.
Perfect 9-hole course
We've played this several times as residents - can't beat the price to get on and play a quick nine any day of the week. Never had issues with pace of play, the staff is generally friendly, and it's challenging enough to leave room for improvement with each round.
