Turtle Creek Golf Course
About
Formerly known as Greenville Country Club, Turtle Creek Golf Course has been around since 1921, making it one of the area's oldest courses. Despite its long history, the relatively unknown course is known as one of the Miami Valley's best-kept secrets. It has a traditional layout that sprawls across acres of lush countryside, situated just outside of Greenville. The landscape is fairly wooded, requiring a bit of accuracy in order to maneuver through some of the narrow openings provided by the trees. There is a stream meandering across the golf course that comes into play on several holes. A few strategically placed bunkers also lurk around some of the greens. Turtle Creek Golf Course is player friendly enough for beginners but it is still an interesting round for more advanced players.

Great day at Turtle Creek
Beautiful, Challenging course. Good food with specials daily.
Pin positions.
Overall, good experience. Course was in good shape given the cold, wet spring we have had. The only complaint would be that the pin positions on the green did not correspond with the number system that the clubhouse gave us. I. E. The pins were supposed to be in the number three position which on the first hole would’ve been at the very front of the green. The pin was actually at the very back of the green. At least half of the holes were like this.
Fun layout! Especially for the $! Good (med. pace greens)
Fun layout! Especially for the $! Good (med. pace greens). NO HUGE DIRT SPOTS AND.... REAL Sand!!!
Great value
Being an old private country club it has several tight fairways and small greens. There are a few holes that play well for a big hitter but accuracy off the tee is needed. Great value for sure.
Decent Course
Decent course for the money, pretty challenging and in OK shape, some of the greens need work to fix bare areas and bad spots.
Would love to see them add yardage markers, other courses use colored stakes, rocks etc, that are easy to see and gives you yardages fast, would speed up play.
Perfect Course to Play
This course offers an extremely challenging round of holes that are played out with tree lined fairways for most of this course. Long par three's are a wonderful challenge as well. After your round you can eat an entire meal at the restaurant or cool yourself down with an ice cold beer or mixed drink at the bar. Excellent service with friendly employees ready to take your orders.
Great time
My brother and I played this course 3 weeks ago and had a blast. Yesterday was no different, course in great shape, pace of play was perfect
Excellent course
One of the best public courses in the Dayton area. Restaurant and pro shop updates, craft beer, enjoyable course with a beautiful lay-out.
Eats like two Bears
Turtle Creek is one of the nicest public course that my golf group has played this year. The course is well maintained, even though we have had an abundance of rain this year. The course, for me was challenging, with plenty of mature trees and some tight dog legs. The course layout is absolutely beautiful, with rolling hills, creeks and ponds. The clubhouse was nice with the usual burgers, wings and hotdogs. They have a bar which serves alcohol for those interested.
True greens
Greens are always nice and roll true. If you get this course for $30 or under you are getting a great deal.
