About
Although Homestead Springs Golf Course is just a few minutes southeast of Columbus, the surrounding countryside provides an idyllic atmosphere. It has a convenient location that is easily accessible from Central Ohio. The course is mostly flat, which makes it easy to walk, but there is some strategic mounding that can cause tricky uneven lies. Overall though, the golf course is not meant to pose an impossible challenge. It has an approachable, player-friendly layout that was designed for all skill levels to enjoy, but there are still a variety of challenges that will keep you on your feet. The course boasts excellent green conditions with putting surfaces that roll fast and true. The greens vary in size from small to medium. Water hazards come into play as well as a few strategically placed bunkers.

Hidden Gem
Best conditions of any public course around the area. The superintendent always has this course in great shape. The only feedback to offer would be some on-course amenities and a ranger to keep pace of play consistent.

1st of Fall great day!!
Spent a great day at Homestead with Brother Jim-Bob.... Homestead is in the process of airating and repairing all their tee boxes. It did not deter the course layout or speed of the greens. Nice to see the course working to make sure it stays in pristine condition. Traps were very playable.
Average
Worst feature was the back tees, way too bad to use on some holes. The course has no range and the putting green was too small for our foursome to use at the same time. The layout was the strength of the course, even though a short course the yardage of the par 5's and 3's made for challenging pars..

Back nine too long for old men
Played on a sunny hot day after an inch of rain the previous day. Some of the fairways were very wet so no roll on some holes. Front nine rough was high. Having the 18th hole being over 600 yards was tough. Maybe they should switch the nines.
